Perfect BB Base

Hi! It’s my LANCOME BB Base. I have just started using this product a few months ago and it’s tremendous. It was recommended by my sister and it’s really wonderful of her to share. GUESS WHAT? Before I went to buy this BB Base, I have so many questions popping out in my mind. I was wondering if I apply BB Base on my face daily, will it damage my skin or will it clogged my pores. But, answer is NO!!! IT WON’T!!!

My sister has been using up the whole tube of this BB Base and her skin is still flawless. This is basically the strongest reason why I dare to try this product. Now I have to share on some stories of my sister because I really don’t use foundation. I only use it when I pay for a make-up outside. However, my sister used to put on foundation on her face when she was studying in UK and nevertheless, many people gave a lot of compliments on her skin. They say it was so smooth, just like egg shells. But, again….. GUESS WHAT?? Everybody likes compliments so my sister starts to put on foundation day after day and when it comes to day seven, she starts to freak out. She starts to have open pores problems and her skin starts to get rough. Therefore, she stops using her foundation and as time passes; her skin is just as flawless as before. The foundation has been kept far away from her only until when she really needs to use it during a dinner function.

Anyway I took a picture of myself when I applied this BB Base on my face. I hope you don’t laugh on how horrid I look on the headband. I didn’t really took a before and after picture, but I applied it on half of my face hopping that you people can differentiate. I will put the picture without drawing a line in between first followed by a picture which can clearly show u the difference.

I think its quite obvious right? Anyway I have applied the LANCOME BB Base on my right face because it’s easier for me to apply. Therefore, you can see that this LANCOME BB Base actually provides a light tinted color which helps me to perfectly cover up my veins and a little on my dark eye circle. By the way, for your information this LANCOME BB Base does not have any colors of selection. It only comes in one color. Therefore, my suggestion is, you may try this out at LANCOME service counter before you purchase it because it’s quite pricey though.

By the way, you apply this LANCOME BB Base only after you have applied the below products:-

1. Cleanser
2. Toner
3. Eye Serum
4. Face Serum
5. Moisturizer
6. Sun Block (which is the LANCOME BB BASE)

Remember to make sure your moisturizer is absorbed about 70% into your skin before you apply this LANCOME BB BASE. Therefore, when you squeeze this LANCOME BB BASE onto the back of your hand, make sure you heat it up by using a finger to mix it in a circular motion. Then only you apply it on your face.

Cure Dry Flaky Lips Problems

Hi! I write on this blog to share some good stuff with you all. I don’t use to have dry chapped and flaky lips but I got this problem about a year ago and it’s getting a lot better now. I have been trying to use lip moisturizer and lip balm that my friends introduce to me but it doesn’t turn out well. However, I agreed that it did help but it’s still not recovering.

 Anyway, I am only having this problem on my upper lips at the lip line areas. It will be swollen at times and sometimes it’s so dry that I don’t even dare to make a huge smile. I’m afraid that it will crack and cause minor bleeding. I guess there are some who may feel itchy at times and having some peeling problems too.

Therefore, this is the product that is really curing me now. 

I bought this KENO ORAL PASTE from a Polyclinic. It cost me only RM8. I have tried buying this product from those pharmacies but I couldn’t find it. If you are having dry flaky lips and you wanted to try this product, just search it out at those clinics around your house. You definitely can get it.

I took some pictures from the web and the dry flaky lips that I mean is like:-

Mine is exactly this dry flaky lips problem but it has been way so much better.

You may still try this KENO ORAL PASTE too. I haven’t really gone to this level but you can give it a try right? Anyway, it’s only RM8.

However, you may apply this product only during your bedtime because it contains something like salt in it. The texture is rough just like those scrubs.

Therefore, you just need to squeeze a small amount of KENO ORAL PASTE onto a clean cotton bud and apply it gently onto the affected area without rubbing it. Then just wipe it off gently with wet facial cotton when you wake up the next day. However, when your affected area is recover then you may stop using it.

I am also using it only when this problem comes back. At the moment I am putting Vaseline on my lips during my bedtime. This is just to ensure that those flakes won’t be irritating me again.

Bobbi Brown Concealer

Yeah!!! This is the concealer that I’m using all these while. If I’m not mistaken, I have bought this BOBBI BROWN concealer a year ago and I’m still using it. I have only replenished the loose powder in it but the concealer is still never ending. Doesn’t that sound good to us? We pay for worth!!! However, I won’t keep it for more than 3 years because it’s not good to keep cosmetic for this long.

Anyway here is a closer look on the Bobbi Brown Concealer.

 

I know you guys feel weird when I said I replenish the loose powder in it right?  Yup!! It comes with loose powder and a powder puff in it. Anyway its “powder” puff, not “power” puffs yah… LOL!!! I almost read it as “power” puff myself. LOL!!!

By the way, here is how it looks when you opened them up.

 

The concealer will be at the top and loose powder will be at the bottom. Anyway I did bought myself a concealer brush but if you girls have your own concealer brush then you can just leave that aside. There is another packing where they only sell the concealer itself and it’s definitely cheaper but the sales person will most probably ask you to take the one with the loose powder. And, I totally agree with them.

Actually there is definitely a reason to why those professional put these two cosmetic into one right? The answer is easy because, when you apply the concealer to your skin, it will stay on your skin but it’s only as long as you don’t touch it. If you make a little scratch or you may happen to wipe your face with a tissue, the concealer will just fade off. Therefore, that’s the reason why you need to apply a layer of loose powder on top of your concealer. It makes the concealed area to stay on longer.

By the way, I seriously don’t put loose powder on my face because it really causes a lot of blockage in my skin and it will probably make my skin to looks dull. Therefore, this Bobbi Brown set really suits me right because I use it only to hold on to my concealed area. I will advise you to only put loose powder on your skin when you have some functions going on. If you were to use it daily then I should really congrats you. (p/s: obviously the other way round)

However, the “Warm Ivory” Concealer and the “Pale Yellow” Loose Powder is the one which I’m using.

Best Make-Up Removers

Hi! I have been very loyal to my make-up removers all these while because I have not been changing my make-up removers ever since I started using.

I am using two different make-up removers now. One is my SHU UEMURA cleansing oil and the other one is my BIOTHERM cleansing milk.

SHU UEMURA has many series of their cleansing oil. They have cleansing oil for dry skin, oily skin, sensitive skin and many others. You can check them out at their stores and see which cleansing oil is most suitable for your skin.

Therefore, the one I’m using is the “Anti-Ageing” range (green).

And…

Yup!!!!

I am using the “ANTI-AGEING” range. I must admit that I am soon to be an old woman. I need all these prevention so that I can still keep my 20’s look.

This is my SHU UEMURA cleansing oil.

By the way, I have my own advice on using this cleansing oil. If you are on a full make-up and you rub your whole face with this cleansing oil, I guarantee that you will have the cleansing oil running into your eye and making you to have some blurry eyesight. Therefore, I will usually use the oil to clean up the make-up on my eyes completely before I go to my face. This will make you a lot easier.

The ways are easy, all you need to do is pump some oil onto a facial cotton and remove them slowly. Then after the eyes area is done, pump the oil again to cleanse the whole face. This is to ensure that the make-up on the eyes is thoroughly cleaned up.

If I’m not mistaken I bought this cleansing oil for RM120. By right it should be RM110, but remember about the earthquake and tsunami that struck in Japan during this year March? Due to this disaster, all products sold by SHU UEMURA have increase by RM10 as they have shortage in supplies. Therefore, I was to conclude that RM120 is for the 450ml and it’s super worth it. You can use it for more than a year. Get one NOW!!!

This is my BIOTHERM cleansing milk.

Actually this was the first make-up remover that I’ve ever started using. Last time, I use it to remove off my blush and sun block applied on my face. When I ever started to do make-up on my eyes, I seriously felt that this remover is not so much useful to me. It doesn’t cleanse well on my mascara and eyeliners. Therefore, I use it just for my blush and sun block.

BUT……

GUESS WHAT????

I explore something new in it. I guess you guys know that I am using my KISS ME HEAVY ROTATION EYELINER right?

Those who have used this eyeliner before should know that when you draw a line on your hand and rub it hard, the line will still be on your hand without smearing a bit. Therefore, a lot of people were worrying that if you apply this eyeliner on your eyes, you will have a damn hell of difficulty to remove it off right?

Vitamin C That I’m Taking!

Hi!!! I feel myself being quite funny in my blog because I have just written about how bad my cholesterol level will be after eating those crabs and now I am blogging about some health supplements that I’m taking. LOL!!!

Never mind about that… LOL!!!

So Vitamin C that I’m taking is “Flavettes”!!!

Yup!! It’s “Flavettes”!!! It’s actually a Vitamin C Soluble. I prefer taking Vitamin C in liquid form because it actually absorb faster into our body. Besides, I love drinking orange juice. LOL!!! I know this is not orange juice. I was just trying to give another example on why I like to drink it in liquid form. LOL!!!!

And, it has 30 tablets in this box. It contains 10 tablets in each of it.

So, I’m just going to throw the tablet in a glass of water.

And here it goes. It’s dissolving in the water.

Finally, my ORANGE JUICE!!!

By the way, I heard that Vitamin C helps to form collagen and can prevent against immune system deficiencies, eye dieses, and even skin wrinkling. Actually I know there are a lot of other benefits gains from taking Vitamin C but those I concern most were those written above.

Helps me to prevent my skin from ageing because as we age, our collagen production will decrease and the tendency of our skin will be dropping way off.

I think this is good because it can protect my body from getting sick or any illness easily. Therefore, hopefully with high level of Vitamin C in my blood may help me to survive from disease.

**Eye Disease**

I concern about this because eyes is very important to me as I am shortsighted so when I am without my lens I could hardly see. Therefore, I really hope that I can prevent anything from happening to my eyes.

Come on. I think this is something that everyone is wishing to prevent right?

By the way, I have a very sensitive skin as I have stated in my previous blog on my skin fairness tips, so taking Vitamin C for me is a MUST. I do keep those terrible picture that I have taken during my allergy but I decided not to load it here incase I scare you all off.

Being Spoiled!!!

I am really being spoiled by “CRABS” in China. I have eaten six crabs in just a week. At first I was not so craving into eating crabs until I ask Brendan what I get to eat most during this season and the answer was “CRABS”. Therefore I insist Brendan to take me out for a crab dinner during my birthday.

Here, have a look at what has gone into my stomach.



Feel Shocked??? Feel shocked that a girl like me could manage to eat all four?? LOL!!! These all four definitely won’t be taken into my stomach by me myself. I took a male crab and a female crab and it goes the same to Brendan. He took two as well. It was really amazing and delicious.

This part of the crab is the part that I’ve enjoyed MOST!!!

I really had a wonderful crab dinner at Su Zhou. Thanks to my wonderful Brendan for arranging this dinner for me.

By the way, due to this dinner, I am craving to have them every night. Therefore, Brendan is in “GREAT TROUBLE”!!! LOL!!! He has been bothered by me every night asking him to take me out for crabs. Unfortunately, he is so lucky. One of his business partners gave him a box of fresh crabs which contains eight in it.

This crab is blowing bubbles. Good sign to me. I’m taking him down in minutes. LOL!!!

They are fully cleaned up and prepared to be STEAM!!!

Anyway, we each took two that night and another two for the following night. Therefore, my conclusion is I took six crabs in just a week and I guarantee my cholesterol level will be blast if I ever go for a body check up.
