My Proposal on 4 November 2012

Hi guys! I am engaged three weeks ago and it was totally unexpected.

Friends who had already listen to my story telling will definitely feel bored when you read this blog but if you don't mind, just read it again folks!! It’s my happiest day of all~ I WANT TO SHARE!! LOL!!

Although it happens three weeks ago but whenever I think of how he planned everything for my birthday and the proposal, I am really very touch. I should say planned for the proposal only because the birthday celebration was a pre-plan trip. We had already planned to go to Legoland and Hello Kitty Town throughout the weekends in Johor. LOL!!!

On the day of my proposal, we went to Hello Kitty Town, Johor and were there until 3pm. After that, we left Hello Kitty Town and headed towards Singapore. It took us about 45 minutes to reach our hotel at Singapore and I still remember that it’s hardly even 4pm yet when we were at our hotel rooms. Therefore, I told Brendan that I need to take a nap because I am really super exhausted after a day fun at Legoland and a whole day walking at Hello Kitty Town. He took a nap as well because I believe he is exhausted too because he needs to drive for the whole trip.

When the clock strikes 5pm, we woke up and Brendan told me that he wanted to wash his hair and re-style his hair. It’s sort of weird for me because the previous day when we were at the hotel after our Legoland trip, he doesn’t even have the intention to re-style his hair for dinner after taking his shower. But, at that moment, all I thought was maybe he wanted to be at his best condition to celebrate my birthday with me. Therefore, he drove all the way to Singapore Flyers to have my birthday dinner celebration.

We went to Seafood Paradise for our dinner and these are the foods we ordered.

Aaahaa~ You saw the yummy butter crab? That was my favorite among all dishes. I think both of us are kind of weird because we also had crabs on Valentine Day. I thought Valentine dinner supposed to be romantic but we always end up having our dinner at Seafood Restaurants. Luckily Brendan didn't put that ring inside the crab to surprise me. LOL~ Else I think I would have swallow it into my stomach. LOL~

After the wonderful dinner, Brendan asked me if I would like to take a ride on the Flyers. I told him to check out for the prices and it’s really not cheap at all because it cost us about SG$33 per person. Before I get to answer him, he told me that, “Why not we just take a ride, I don’t earn much income last time but now I start to earn more. Let me just take you for a ride.” The reason why he told me that he doesn’t earn much income last time is because he used to work in Singapore for a year. In the past while he was working in Singapore, I used to visit him monthly and he will take me around for foods and shopping. At that time, we did go to Singapore Flyers and that’s where we had our Valentine dinner. LOL! For a newbie who just started working in Singapore, SG$33 it’s definitely pricey so we decided not to take the ride.

But anyhow, I still finally get to take a ride at Singapore flyers and at that moment when he told me to take the ride, I was still not aware that he is going to propose because all I thought was he is just trying to make me happy on my birthday. I feel nothing special throughout the ride but another weird thing is that he actually wanted just both of us in the Ferris wheel but indeed, there are quite some people behind us so we end up with six people. There are another couple, two aunties and us.

The whole ride was really quiet throughout because everybody is enjoying the night view outside. During the ride, Brendan was all the while hugging my waist behind me and both of us were also enjoying the night view outside.

When the Ferris wheel is going to reach to the top point, Brendan told me that he wanted to tell me something. All I thought was just a birthday wish so I just say Yes?” Then from my right side below my waist, Brendan suddenly held out a ring and I was totally freak out. He told me, Actually I wanted to make our proposal romantic by just having both of us in the Ferris wheel but unfortunately I cant. However, I will need to kneel on my knees since its a proposal. Therefore, he knelt down and he said, Stella Kok, will you marry me?

I burst out in tears and say, Yes. Do you all know while Brendan was on his knees, the two aunties behind was whispering saying, Oooo, someone is proposing, someone is proposing. LOL~ I was still feeling over excited so I was hugging Brendan all the time while my tears were still non-stop flowing. He kept on help me to wipe off my tears with his hands and I just cant wait to tell my parents and friends about my good news.

Overall thing that make my tears flow non-stop is because Brendan really surprise me deeply and for him to lower down his self-esteem to kneel down on his knees really shows his sincerity of the proposal. I love you much too.

A picture of me in the Ferris wheels after the proposal and with my ring on.

I have sleepless night on that day feeling still so excited. I had told my engagement to my sister and few of my closest friends that night and I posted my engagement on my Facebook wall the following day to notify all my friends and relatives. Thanks to all that congrats me on my wall and who wishes me for my birthday. I am really having a great day and enjoyed my day to the max.

By the way, when we went home to the hotel, Brendan did explain why he choose this ring for me and I was really shocked that he has already bought this ring a few months ago in Hong Kong without me notifying at all. He told me that there are four hearts grabbing hold of the diamond which means he wants to grab hold of my heart forever. I tell you honestly my heart melted to the deepest for whatever he did.

This is my proposal ring from TSL.

and this is the box that he used during the proposal.

Try to see if you can spot the heart that is grabbing the diamond.

Bye!!!

Enjoy your day!!

Legoland, Malaysia

Hi! I am finally back from my short vacation and I'm super exhausted now. But no worries about it cause my blogging spirit is still super active. LOL~ By the way, as written on my post, I am going to blog on my experience in Legoland, Malaysia. Previously I have read on some reviews saying that Legoland it's more for kids below 12 years old and most of the rides are not fully open yet but I am sort of  "force" to go there because it's my birthday so Brendan intended to take me there to have a look.

If you are planning to go there, remember to get your tickets online because the original tickets is RM140 but if you purchase online, there is a discount of 25% which is RM105. You will just need to print out your tickets and walk straight to the entrance. This is how your tickets suppose to look like.

By the way, every time we go outstation, we will definitely drive through Mc Donald's to purchase our morning breakfast. Our all time favorite is always "Sausage Mc Muffin with Egg". Snap a picture to tempt you guys.

Here's our Hash browns.

Brendan is setting up on the GPS.

And, I am already half way eating up my burger. Therefore, I decided to cam-ho before the burger is totally gone into my stomach. LOL!!!

This is just another shot of me while Brendan was driving and I was just too bored beside. Anyway, can you guys spot what is he hugging. LOL!!! It's my tortoise plush.

After almost a 3 hours ride from Kuala Lumpur, I finally get to see our arrival destination signage on my left.

Taadaa~ It's us at Legoland. This is the main entrance to the park.

I ask Brendan to post exactly like the lego statue.

Here are some other shots taken while we were in Legoland, Malaysia.

Anyway do I looks like a bee with yellow and black stripes pull over? LOL~ Brendan ask me why do I dress up like my niece.

Actually I was just trying to match the Lego theme! Lego is always mainly yellow and red color right? LOL!!!

We are queuing up for the roller coaster ride and it's so hot~

During the queue you will get to see these big board explaining their acceleration, braking system, safety shell & suspension.

Our cam-ho session during the queue~ Just look at the people behind us~

Anyway this is the Mastermind building where the kids can build anything with the lego provided inside.

Although it's meant for kids but we both went in to enjoy some air condition because it's really super hot outside.

This is the entrance to the Dragon Apprentice roller coaster ride.

During the queue, there is this section for kids to play lego.

After that we headed to Miniland.

The penguin is so CUTE!!!

Imagination World~

We had our meals here and the food was really not bad. We ate pizza and garlic bread at Pizza Mania and it taste GOOD!

After filling up our tummy, we queue almost 1 hour for the 4D motion master. I tell you, if you are here, you must watch the 4D motion master. It's great! It's almost a 30 minutes show. I thinks this 4D motion master is even better than the one I saw at Dream World, Gold Coast.

All the lego statues at Imagination World.

I ask Brendan to take a picture with the giraffe butt cause I realize there is totally no crowds there. Duh~ who will wants to take picture with giraffe butt~ LOL!!! He is an exceptional because he was force to. LOL!! Anyway he looks as if he has a tail too in this picture right? LOL!! It's actually my bag.

Guess where is he rushing....

TO GET HIS SNACKS!!! LOL!!

There are other entertainments in the park. Those plush are freaking cute!

We didn't queue for this ride because we didn't want to get wet. =p

Anyway we headed to another ride and these are the pictures to my end.

Have a great day if you guys got to Legoland, Malaysia.

Bye!
